Tropical Storm Chris

Well, looks like tropical storm Chris is weakening and shouldn't cause much trouble for our flight through Miami on Saturday. But we'll still keep an eye on the Chris, as it would be less than fun if it strengthened and turned toward Miami.

And the volcano Tungurahua, which was quite active several weeks ago (lava flows, pyroclastic flows, ash, etc.), seems to have calmed down a bit, which is good for us getting around that part of Ecuador. But who knows if "The Black Giant", as my Mom calls it, will give us a show, or more, while we're in the vicinity!
