Safely in Quito

Well, our travels to Quito were relatively uneventful, which is a good thing. A little bit of a rerouting coming into Miami, due to a thunderstorm over the Everglades was about it. We came into Quito after sunset, so we couldn´t really see the surrounding mountains. But we´re settling into the Hotel Los Alpes and looking forward to our first full day in Ecuador tomorrow. Mom had quite a lively conversation with the taxi driver who picked us up at the airport.
